Sparkling Pear Bourbon Sorbet

Whip up this fluffy, sugar-free sorbet for some grown up fun!

Ingredients

  • 2 pears, deseeded
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1 inch chunk ginger
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 2 1/2 cups Sparkling Pear Zevia Celebrations

Directions

  1. 24 hours before making the sorbet, freeze the freezer bowl of your ice cream maker
  2. Slice pears into thin slices
  3. Chop ginger into small pieces
  4. Heat a saucepan to medium heat and add pears, bourbon, ginger, and vanilla and bring to a boil
  5. Reduce heat and cover
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
  7. Remove the lid and simmer for 3 more minutes
  8. Place in a sealed container and chill in the fridge
  9. Blend ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth
  10. Combine mixture with the Sparkling Pear Zevia Celebrations in a large bowl
  11. Churn sorbet base in ice cream maker per instructions
  12. When frozen, transfer to a freezer-proof container and freeze for about 4 hours until set
  13. Before eating, set out for about 5 minutes to soften
