Strawberry Rhubarb Sangria

Have fun with this seasonal take on classic Sangria courtesy of the Registered Dietitian at Sinful Nutrition!

Ingredients

  • 2 stalks rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1 bottle pink Moscato
  • 1 can Zevia Strawberry soda, or Zevia Ginger Ale
  • Ice cubes
  • Basil for garnish (optional)

Yield:

4 servings

Directions

  1. Combine chopped strawberries, rhubarb, and sugar in a small bowl.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine brandy and wine.
  4. Add fruit mixture and soda.
  5. Top with ice cubes and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
