Whiskey Ginger Root Beer Granita

Take a break from that regular cocktail with this granita from Melodrama!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Zevia Ginger Root Beer
  • 1.5 oz whiskey
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Directions

  1. Empty your Zevia soda into a flat-bottom pan and let freeze for 20 minutes.
  2. Stir with a fork, scraping down the sides and bottom of the pan.
  3. Repeat this every 20 minutes until you have a snow-like consistency.
  4. Mix whiskey and bitters into an 8 oz cocktail glass and fill with prepared Ginger Root Beer granita.
  5. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and serve with a spoon and straw.
