Energize Your Body This Winter
When temperatures drop, so might our desire to exercise. Tempting as it is to burrow into the couch, it's important not to let your body hibernate just because it's winter. These 5 tips will help you motivate yourself to break a sweat and stay active all winter long.
1. Caffeine please!

2. Work out at home
Just because you're snowed in doesn't mean you can't work out at home. Need some inspiration? Hit up YouTube! There are literally thousands of free workout videos on YouTube to choose from: yoga, Pilates, HIIT, and even Zumba!
3. Go play!
Having a snowball fight or building a snowman might not seem like working out, but you burn some serious calories while doubling the fun. The same goes for ice skating or sledding! You'll be too busy enjoying yourself to feel the cold - provided you bundle up!
4. Try something new!
Winter is the perfect time to switch up your workout routine. If you're an outdoor fanatic, try an indoor activity like yoga or roller skating. If you're a gym devotee, try hitting the slopes. Change begins at the end of your comfort zone!
5. Stay Hydrated
It can be easy to forget to hydrate when it's cold out. But cold weather can move water away from your extremities, adding to dehydration. Because one of the biggest symptoms of dehydration is fatigue, staying hydrated helps you stay moving.
