Cream Soda Rum Horchata

It's about that time where Cinco de Mayo celebrations are in order. Usually, we'd whip up a boozy Zevia Lime Margarita, but we feel like changing it up this year. Everyone's doing margaritas anyways, and we pride ourselves on being different. Instead, we're concocting an adult version of a Latin classic. Our horchata features Zevia Cream Soda, a bit of rum, almond butter, and some raisins for good measure. How's that for unique?


    • 1 cup rice milk
    • 1 can Zevia Cream Soda
    • 2 tbsp almond butter
    • 1/2 cup raisins
    • 1 tbsp cinnamon
    • 3 oz spiced rum
    • 2 cups ice
    • 1/2 cup coconut cream (for garnish)
    • 2 cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
    • slivered almonds (for garnish)


    1. Combine rice milk, Zevia Cream Soda, almond butter, raisins, cinnamon, spiced rum, and ice in a blender
    2. Blend until smooth and pour into glasses
    3. Top with a dallop of coconut cream, a cinnamon stick, and a pinch of slivered almonds
